Well thank you very much for the kind comment, I really think you'll enjoy it but I'll admit that I am slightly biased. It's a huge, huge jump, I really think the Americans have a better, though frighteningly expensive, way of making you do law after a previous degree - it's not like anything I came across at school.
It happens to be much better but at the same time a big challenge, if you hang on til it all makes sense after a couple of months everything is suddenly much better.

You're doing the right thing by reading up ahead, I didn't and played everything by ear which was fine but stressful as everything was so different. My best advice is the keep on top of everything - reading, coursework and even law society dates which often sell out. It's hard to catch up if you fall behind, I even started taking vitamins in desperation after a bad cold in my first semester laid me up for a week.

Oh, and there will be horrible colds hanging about - new people everywhere, stay healthy and it's much easier on you.

Just wanted to say thanks for creating this amazing blog!

I'm going to study law at a Scottish Uni next year but have been sadly lacking in inspiration and motivation. However, having spent the past half-hour reading through and digesting your blogs, I am really looking forward to it.

I especially enjoy your insights into being a law student and I can't wait until you reach third year and move into the honours programme - as I'm sure you will, if the intelligence and determination shown by your blogs are anything to go by.
