Fox attack baby returns home…

A police support officer remained on guard outside the house last night.
To police guard? Wait, what?
This was a horrible story about an urban fox that had snuck in an open patio door unnoticed, found a bedroom with two sleeping babies in it and attacked them. It’s horrific but the root cause was basically fixed once you threw the fox out and shut the door. Beyond needing to do something what is the police guard possibly going to achieve there? You’ve basically just tied up a police officer for a week or two until the press get bored.

Yeah – totally agree that the police guard is overkill!! Crazy.
I’m still sceptical that it was a fox in the first place, tbh. :-\
Yeah, totally, what is the police guard going to do if the “perpetrator” returns to the “scene of the crime”? Arrest it?
I didn’t like the BBC interview with the exterminator the parents have hired to kill anything with a tail within 20 miles because he said “an animal that has lost its fear of humans is a dangerous animal” because, firstly, my cat would like to disagree and secondly, that’s exactly what you would say, that’s you touting for work. To be honest I’m against people with conflicts of interest talking to the news in general.
